Our privacy position

This policy covers the individual edition of Far Fruit. Far Fruit is provided by Charles Miller IT Consulting, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We designed the individual application so that we do not collect personal data from your use of the application.

Organizations using license keys, managed TV assignments, or gateway authorization should read the separate Far Fruit Business Privacy Policy.

There is no Far Fruit account, advertising system, analytics SDK, tracking technology, or company-operated command relay.

Data the application does not collect

Far Fruit does not transmit to us or store on our servers:

• Apple TV names, identifiers, addresses, or network details;
• pairing credentials, PINs, encryption keys, or saved connections;
• remote-control commands, keyboard input, searches, or viewing activity;
• camera video, audio, images, or recordings;
• contacts, precise location, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics; or
• crash reports or diagnostics sent directly to us.

Information stored on your device

Far Fruit stores information needed to operate—such as saved TVs, groups, preferences, and pairing credentials—locally on your device. This information is used to connect to devices you select and is not sent to Charles Miller IT Consulting, LLC.

Removing the app or clearing its saved data may remove those settings and require you to pair again.

Private iCloud trial record

To keep the seven-day trial consistent across your devices, Far Fruit stores a one-way hash derived from Apple’s verified app-transaction identifier and the earliest trial-start date in your private iCloud database when iCloud is available. This record is processed by Apple’s CloudKit service for your account. Charles Miller IT Consulting, LLC does not receive it, access it, or operate a server for it. If iCloud is unavailable, Far Fruit uses the trial record stored locally on your device.

Direct device and network communication

Commands travel directly between your device and an Apple TV over a network path available to you. Network providers, VPN providers, router operators, Apple, or other services you choose may process network traffic under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control those independent services.

Cameras are separate

Far Fruit does not connect to cameras and does not access, record, transmit, or receive camera footage. If you use a separate camera to view a remote television, that camera is operated independently under the camera provider’s privacy policy and your own authorization.

This website

Farfruit.net does not use advertising cookies, behavioral analytics, tracking pixels, contact forms, or user accounts. Like virtually all websites, the hosting and network providers that deliver the site may temporarily process technical request information such as an IP address, browser information, request time, and requested page for security and delivery. We do not use that information to profile visitors or sell it.

Apple services

Apple may process information related to downloading, purchasing, updating, or using apps and Apple services. That processing is governed by Apple’s policies and is not collection by Far Fruit. Apple states that data processed only on a user’s device is not treated as collected for App Store privacy disclosures.

Children

Because we do not collect personal data through Far Fruit, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If Far Fruit’s data practices change, we will update this policy before the new collection begins, update the effective date, and make any disclosures or obtain any consent required by law or App Store policy.
